Description

NAN 2 OPTIPRO is a milk formula intended for feeding children from 6 months of age as a milk component of the child’s diet along with complementary feeding products. Cannot serve as a substitute for breast milk during the first 6 months of life. Provides your child with all the nutrients necessary for his harmonious physical and mental development.

OPTIPRO is an optimized protein complex found only in NAN. Thanks to it, the child receives exactly the amount of protein needed for optimal growth and development, reducing the risk of overloading immature organs.

Live bifidobacteria BL help strengthen your baby's immunity. DHA and ARA are two special fatty acids present in breast milk that play an important role in the development of the baby's immune system and promote brain and vision development.

Infant formula NAN 1

This mixture is an adapted substitute, as close as possible to the composition of human breast milk , and is intended for infants from birth. The mixture belongs to the premium class of baby food and promotes optimal mental and physical development of the child from the first months.

Until six months, most parents try not to introduce additional complementary foods, so most often it is used as the only source of food components. This mixture can be stored for up to two years without losing its beneficial properties. Scientists are constantly improving milk formulas of the National Academy of Sciences, introducing patented and new technologies, including:

  • Protect start - from the first months strengthens the baby's immunity and promotes its healthy development.
  • Bifidogenic effect is a technology for maintaining the correct microflora in the baby’s intestines.
  • DHA, ARA are acids that are necessary for the proper development of the child’s brain and vision from the first months.
  • Opti pro is a component that is responsible for the optimal amount of protein that is absorbed by the baby’s body and is responsible for its proper growth and development.

Preparation

  1. Wash your hands before preparing baby formula.
  2. Wash the bottle, nipple and cap thoroughly to ensure that no traces of milk remain on them.
  3. Boil them for 5 minutes. Cover until ready to use.
  4. Boil drinking water for 5 minutes and then cool to 37°C.
  5. Using the feeding chart as a guide, pour the accurately measured amount of water into the boiled bottle.
  6. Using the feeding chart as a guide, add the exact number of scoops of powder according to your baby's age. Use only the level measuring spoon in the jar.
  7. Shake the bottle until the powder is completely dissolved.
  8. After use, place the measuring spoon on the lip of the jar as shown in the instructions.
  9. After preparing the mixture, the jar of powder should be tightly closed and stored in a cool, dry place.

Warning. The mixture should be prepared immediately before feeding. Follow cooking instructions exactly. The diluted mixture remaining after feeding cannot be stored or subsequently used. During feeding, it is necessary to support the child so that he does not choke. As your baby gets older, switch to cup feeding.

Warning . The use of unboiled water and unboiled bottles, as well as improper storage, transportation, preparation and feeding can lead to adverse consequences for the child’s health.

Note. To preserve live bacteria, boiled water should be cooled to approximately body temperature (37 ℃) and then dry powder should be added. To prepare the mixture, use the included measuring spoon, filled level. Diluting the wrong amount of powder - more or less than the amount indicated in the table - can lead to dehydration or malnutrition in the child.

These proportions should not be changed without the advice of a medical professional. At this age, it is often recommended to gradually introduce cereals, vegetables, fruits, meat and fish into the child’s diet.

Because children's individual needs vary, seek advice from a healthcare professional. If your doctor recommends introducing new foods earlier, reduce the amount of formula as recommended.

“NAN” mixture: 10 varieties and features of each of them

Every mother wants to see her child healthy and happy, so she tries to give him the best. The ideal food for a baby is breast milk. After all, the composition of milk is individual, and its formula is truly unique.

Unfortunately, breastfeeding is not always possible. What to do in this case? How to understand the variety of mixtures and choose the one that would satisfy the needs of the baby?

Today we will talk about NAS infant formula.

A little about the manufacturer

has been producing baby food for babies of all ages for over 145 years. Their products include: NAN, Nestozhen mixtures, Nestlé porridge and Gerber puree.

For every period of a child’s life, there is a product that is ideal for feeding the baby. Nestlé mixtures undergo strict quality control, and their manufacturing technologies are time-tested.

Why can't you feed a newborn baby cow's milk?

The answer is simple - it’s all about the composition of the milk. Cow's milk contains twice as much protein as breast milk. The amount of minerals - salts, phosphorus and calcium - exceeds the permissible concentration for children three times. This composition is necessary for the rapid growth of the calf and is unacceptable for the development of the child.

You should not use cow's milk even in diluted form, because the protein in cow's milk is not digested properly. Its accumulation leads to allergic reactions and digestive problems, colic. The child’s immature kidneys cannot cope with excess nutrients. And low iron levels increase the risk of anemia.

What is OPTIPRO protein?

Protein is one of the most important nutrients, a building material necessary for the growth of a child. It’s not for nothing that they are called “the building blocks of life.” Properly balanced protein supplied from food promotes the development of the immune and digestive systems and uniform weight gain.

Rational nutrition in the first 2 years of a child’s life ensures his health for life.

The composition of NAN milk formulas includes OPTIPRO. This is an optimized protein complex, which is found only in NAN Optipro infant formulas. Thus, the baby receives enough of the “right” protein, and the internal organs work without overload.

What else is included in NAN baby food?

“NAN” formulas are highly adapted, which means their composition is as close as possible to the composition of breast milk. To do this, I introduced live bifidobacteria BL, fatty acids DHA and ARA, vitamins and minerals.

Bifidobacteria normalize digestion and populate the intestines with “healthy” bacteria. DHA and ARA are two special fatty acids that play a huge role in the development of immunity and contribute to the development of the child’s brain and vision. It is not for nothing that adapted formulas are also called breast milk substitutes.

Types of NAN mixtures

It’s easy to understand the range of products, because each age has its own mixture.

Warning

The ideal food for an infant is mother's milk. Breastfeeding should continue for as long as possible. Before deciding to bottle-feed using infant formula, seek advice from a healthcare professional. Age restrictions are indicated on product packaging in accordance with the law.

NAN 2 OPTIPRO formula is intended for feeding healthy children from 6 months of age, when breastfeeding is not possible. NAN 2 OPTIPRO cannot serve as a substitute for human milk during the first 6 months of life.

The product is made from raw materials produced by specially selected suppliers, without the use of genetically modified ingredients, preservatives, colors or flavors.

What is the difference between NAN 1 and NAN 2 baby formulas?

Infant formula is an integral part of the diet of every baby in the first year of life, and sometimes completely replaces it.

Therefore, each parent must choose a mixture that is optimal for the child’s age category. In this article we will compare infant milk formulas NAN 1 and NAN 2, identifying the differences between them.

To do this, let’s first get acquainted with each of them in detail.

Infant formula NAN 2

Like the NAN 1 mixture, NAN 2 contains a number of components and scientific developments aimed at the comfortable development of the baby’s growing body and is classified as a premium mixture. However, it is intended for the next stage in development, which occurs after six months. The optimal amount of protein is concentrated here, which is responsible for the active growth of babies in their first year of life.

If the first formula is often used as supplementary feeding (if there is not enough breast milk) or as a complete replacement (when there is no milk at all), then the NAN 2 milk formula is given to the baby along with his first complementary foods - various cereals, purees and other products. Powdered milk formula NAN 2 is also full of multi-directional technologies that allow the mixture to be as similar as possible to mother's milk. Here are some of the technologies that NAS 2 contains:

  • OPTIPRO is something that is found only in Nan milk formula and controls the absorption of exactly the amount of protein that the baby needs at his stage of development.
  • Live bifidobacteria BL - are responsible for the natural strengthening of children's immunity.
  • DHA and ARA are acids that promote the proper development of the baby’s vision and brain.

What are the differences between dry milk formulas Nan 1 and Nan 2?

Having familiarized yourself in detail with each of the milk mixtures, you can come to the following conclusions. Obviously, each of them corresponds to its own stage of development of the baby and is recommended at a certain stage of life. Thus, NAN 1 milk formula is prescribed at the very first stage and is recommended for infants from 0 years of age.

Powdered milk formula NAN 2, in turn, is the next step and is used as supplementary feeding for babies from 6 months. This is their main, but not the only difference.

They also differ from each other in that if the first mixture is recommended as the only one in the baby’s diet, then the second is intended as one of the components of the baby’s diet.

This is due to the fact that most parents already begin to introduce the first complementary foods after six months and one milk formula is no longer enough for the child.

Which milk formula should I choose?

Having familiarized yourself with these formulas in detail, parents will certainly be able to decide on the choice of milk formula, commensurate with the age of the child.

But it is worth noting that in addition to numerical designations, NAS mixtures may also differ in composition and series. For example, there are lactose-free formulas intended for infants with congenital lactose intolerance.

They can be for both the first and second and subsequent stages of development.

Starting from the second stage of development, the baby can already be given fermented milk mixtures, which are also available in the NAS line. When choosing, first of all you should be guided by the age indicated on the can. But it’s also worth paying attention to what’s written on it. In this case, you need to rely on the advice of your pediatrician.
