This mixture continues to help babies fight colic, regurgitation and digestive disorders and is intended for babies older than six months .
The Nutrilon Comfort 2 mixture can also become the main source of nutrition and nutrients for a child.
There are all the same components (as part of the Pronutri + complex) as in the first stage nutrition, but in a different ratio.
The base is still partially hydrolyzed protein.
Lactose content – 3.4 g per 100 ml of food.
The osmolality of the Nutrilon Comfort 2 mixture is 270 mOsm, slightly more than the first stage mixture.

These mixtures are intended for children of different ages and have slightly different compositions.

The basis of both mixtures is protein , subjected to partial hydrolysis; in the first-stage mixture it is 1.5 g per 100 ml of ready-made food, and in the second-stage mixture it is 1.6 g.
Since a growing baby spends more and more energy, the composition of carbohydrates is slightly changed: the composition of “Nutrilon Comfort 2” contains 1.1 g more of them, this is achieved due to a higher content of starch (by 0.5 g) and lactose.
On the contrary, there is less fat in the subsequent mixture than in food for newborns.
The amount of prebiotics - FOS and GOS - is the same in both cases.
The mineral composition of the Nutrilon Comfort 1 mixture is inferior to Nutrilon 2: iron 0.54 g versus 1 gram, calcium 49 g versus 64 g, phosphorus 27 g versus 35 g.
There is also more sodium, potassium, copper, selenium and iodine.
The composition of “Nutrilon Comfort 2” is also richer in vitamin composition, it contains more vitamins A, E (tocopherol), K1.

Of the significant differences in the composition of the above-mentioned ready-made mixtures, it should be noted ~ a ten percent decrease in fat content, an increase in the amount of carbohydrates with the exception of lactose (milk sugar), a significant increase in the proportion of inorganic microelements (especially calcium and iron), a relative increase in most of the group of vitamins and some increase in the overall energy value . Thus, the general dynamics of changes in composition indicate that the transition to a more “adult” formula should clearly stimulate the baby’s gastrointestinal tract to actively take complementary foods and its subsequent absorption.
“Nutrilon Comfort”: how to cook?
How to prepare baby formula? How to properly dilute baby food so as not to harm the baby?
First you need to sterilize all parts of the bottle and nipple.
Boil water and cool it to 37C and no more.
The feeding chart printed on each food package will tell you how many spoons of dry formula to put in a bottle of water and how much water is needed per serving in accordance with the child’s age.
For example, a newborn needs 2 spoons per 60 ml of water, a 6-month-old baby needs 7 spoons.
Attention : the mixture must be diluted in strict accordance with the instructions; there should not be more or less mixture.
Close the bottle with the mixture poured into it and shake thoroughly. Be careful not to form lumps, the mixture is very thick !
