We prepare tasty and healthy: chicken breast soup for a child.

Baby food should, first of all, be healthy, balanced, and beneficial to the growing body. Soups occupy not the last place in children's nutrition. Chicken soup for children is not only a tasty first course, but also a source of nutrients that are easily absorbed by the child’s body. Chicken soup for children under one year of age will be best digested in the form of a light broth, without pieces of solid food. The baby’s body is not yet adapted to many new foods, so chicken soup for a child is one of those few dishes with which his acquaintance with adult cuisine begins. Despite the fact that this is, in principle, a fairly dietary soup, the “Chicken Soup” dish has a recipe for children.

Chicken soup for a 1 year old child is an irreplaceable source of beneficial microelements

Chicken soup for a 1-year-old child is an irreplaceable source of useful microelements in a form that is convenient for the baby’s digestion. In addition, it is quite simple and quick to make.

Chicken breast soup for children - will be useful at any age

Chicken breast soup for children is offered from approximately one year old, but you need to look at your baby. The breast is the most protein-rich part of the chicken and will be useful at any age.

  • breast – 200 grams;
  • potatoes - two pieces;
  • carrot - one piece;
  • onion - half;
  • butter - two teaspoons;
  • drinking water – 1.5 liters.

All ingredients should be washed several times in running water before cooking. Vegetables are cut into small cubes, and the breast is divided into several small parts. Pour half the amount of water into the pan and cook the breast for about twenty minutes. Be sure to remove any foam that forms.

Afterwards, take out the breast and drain this water. Boil the second part of the water and add the meat and vegetables to it, then cook everything together for about ten minutes. Pour the broth into a separate bowl, and puree all parts of the soup in a blender. The amount of broth added is determined by eye. Afterwards, bring the resulting soup with chicken breast for the child to a boil again, cool and serve.

Preparation of broth:

  • Use a tall pan for cooking, but not a wide one, so that the water does not evaporate or boil away.
  • To get the most delicious broth, you need to put the washed meat or vegetables (depending on what kind of broth you want to make) in a pan with cold water.
  • If you are making meat broth, simmer it over low heat with the lid closed for a long time until the meat is soft and cooked. Chicken broth takes about an hour to prepare, and beef broth – up to 5 hours.

But vegetable broth cooks quite quickly. With vegetables that boil quickly, the broth should be cooked for 25 to 30 minutes, and with vegetables that cook longer, from 45 minutes to an hour, but no more. If overcooked, the broth will lose flavor.

  • For vegetable broth for your baby, you should avoid some vegetables such as cabbage, turnips, rutabaga, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, etc.
  • Dry spices such as ground pepper, ground onion powder and other ground herbs should be used with caution. It is better to add to the broth when it is ready.
  • As soon as the broth is ready, strain it immediately
