  • Carrots – 3 pcs.
  • Chicken fillet – 200 gr.
  • Cucumber – 1 pc.
  • Prunes – 5 pcs.
  • Mayonnaise or sour cream - 50 gr.

Preparation:

Boil chicken fillet, carrots, potatoes, eggs and grate. Place a layer of grated potatoes in the shape of a tiger's face. Pour sour cream or mayonnaise on top. Then we lay out other chopped products in layers, after each layer you need to pour sour cream over the salad. First there is a layer of chicken, then a layer of cucumber, onion, egg yolks, carrots. Grate the egg white and place it in the shape of a tiger's eye and face. Cut the cucumber into thin strips and make a mustache for the tiger. We place the prunes in the shape of the nose and pupils of the animal.

Salad "Childhood"

A simple salad option that can be given even to infants. Easy to prepare and at the same time very healthy.

Recipe

1. Sort out the leaves of young spinach, sorrel and green salad, separate them from the petioles, rinse in boiled cold water and drain in a colander.

2. Wash the cucumber and green onion thoroughly and chop. Scald the walnuts with boiling water, remove the skins and chop finely with a knife.

3. Finely chop the green leaves of lettuce, spinach and sorrel. Mix all products except nuts with sour cream and place in a salad bowl. Sprinkle with nuts.

Salad "Cake"

A holiday salad option that is sure to amuse any child.

Ingredients:

  • Lettuce leaves – 1 bunch
  • Eggs – 5 pcs.
  • Chicken fillet – 100 g
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Green peas – 1 can
  • Olives – 1 jar
  • Sour cream or mayonnaise – 50 gr.
  • Cheese – 100 gr.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves

Preparation:

Cook the fillet and eggs, chop the remaining products. Mix chicken, yolk, 1 chopped garlic clove, green peas. Pour mayonnaise or sour cream over everything and mix. We spread this base on lettuce leaves in the shape of a hedgehog. Place the next layer on top - mixed protein, cheese, garlic and mayonnaise. Cut the olives into thin strips - these will be the hedgehog's needles. We make eyes and a nose from olives.

What kind of salads can a child have?

For the children's table, you should choose selected ingredients - only the freshest seafood, meat and vegetables, a variety of greens: arugula, parsley, different types of salads. Greens should prevail in children's dishes. This way the food will be as healthy as possible (fortified) and easy to digest and assimilate.

Low-fat yogurt, children's homemade mayonnaise or olive oil flavored with finely chopped dill are ideal as a dressing. Starting from 3–5 years, you can add grated garlic to sauces, but there is no need to rush to introduce this product into the baby’s menu.

Salad "Spring"

  • Cucumber – 1 pc.
  • White cabbage – 1/5 of a small head
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp. spoon

Salad with beets, carrots and cranberry juice

2. Peel beets, carrots and turnips and grate them separately on a Korean carrot grater and place in a separate bowl. Add a little vegetable oil to each and let the vegetables soak.

3. Add sugar to currant juice, stir and wait until completely dissolved.

4. Mix prepared vegetables in a salad bowl and pour over currant juice. Sprinkle the salad with nuts and garnish with currants.

Salad “Norushka”

A delicious and fun salad for a holiday.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs – 5 pcs.
  • Canned pineapples – 5 slices
  • Cheese – 200 gr.
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Mayonnaise or sour cream – 50 gr.

Preparation:

Boil the eggs. Grind 3 egg whites and use the remaining 2 eggs to make figures. Place the chopped whites on a plate and spread with mayonnaise. Chop the pineapple into cubes and place on a dish in a second layer. Also coat with mayonnaise. Mix the cheese with grated garlic and spread it in a third layer. Spread mayonnaise on top and pour egg yolk. Now we make mice from eggs. We cut off a small part of the boiled and peeled egg so that it can be in a stable position.   • Tomato – 1 pc.

  • 1/2 small carrot

Preparation

Wash potatoes and carrots, boil and peel. Cut into small cubes and combine.

Boil green peas (if fresh) in boiling salted water for 5-7 minutes, add to potatoes and carrots. Also cut the fresh cucumber into slices and add to the rest of the vegetables.

Boil the egg hard, cool, peel and finely chop. Add to the rest of the products and mix.

Season the salad with sour cream and garnish with a sprig of parsley or dill.

Wash the carrots thoroughly with a brush, peel and grate on a fine grater. Mix with boiled green peas, add fruit juice and olive oil, mix thoroughly. Serve immediately with a side dish or with a meat dish.

Salad "Sesame"

A healthy salad option for children after one year, which has an original taste.

Ingredients:

  • Celery – 50 gr.
  • Pepper – 1 pc.
  • Cucumber – 1 pc.

  • Mint - a few leaves

Ingredients for 2-3 servings:

  • 1 chicken or 2 quail eggs;
  • 100 g tuna in its own juice;
  • a bunch of spinach;

  • ¼ sweet red onion;
  • a handful of homemade crackers (optional);
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil.

Recipe step by step

  1. Prepare all ingredients: wash and dry thoroughly. Remove everything unnecessary.
  2. Boil the eggs hard and cut into pieces. Chicken for 4, quail for 2 parts each.
  3. Mash the tuna with a fork (drain off the liquid).
  4. Cut the onion into half rings and tear the spinach with your hands.
  5. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, season with olive oil and sprinkle with crackers (crackers - if desired, you can leave them out).

You can prepare these salads for a child’s birthday - both the birthday boy and the guests will be full and satisfied. Or for any other holiday. The recipes are original, but at the same time very simple, and the ingredients are not too expensive. The dishes are also suitable for the everyday table.

All these delicious and simple salads for children should not be prepared in advance, only immediately before serving, in order to preserve all the taste and vitamins. This is especially true for fruit mix with yogurt. Apples and bananas will quickly turn black and stop looking appetizing and juicy.

Use only those ingredients that (individually) are already familiar to the baby. If, for example, your baby has never tried tuna, prepare a different salad.
