Pear puree for the winter: a simple recipe
In principle, pear puree is always quite simple to prepare, so even a novice housewife can probably handle this process.
In order to treat yourself and your family to such sweetness in the winter, you will only need a little time, desire and the necessary products, which, by the way, are available and can be found, as a rule, in any home.
- Pears – 2 kg
- Apple juice – 120 ml
- Water – 50 ml
- Citric acid – 7 g

- Now place the chopped fruit in a saucepan, cook the mixture over medium heat, remembering to stir, for about 25 minutes. If the pear pieces are large, increase the cooking time to 35 minutes.
- After this time, remove the container from the heat, cool its contents, and then puree it using a blender. If you don’t have such a kitchen device, use a meat grinder and pass the ingredients through it several times.
- Return the puree to the pan and add granulated sugar and spices as desired.
- Now you need to boil the puree. The longer you cook it, the thicker it will become, so adjust this process to your liking.
- At this time, prepare a small glass container. Wash, dry and sterilize it.
- Place the finished puree in a container, place it in a saucepan with boiling water and leave there for 7 minutes.
- Close the jars with lids and, after waiting for them to cool, rearrange them at the appropriate time.
Features of preparing pear puree
When creating pear puree, a number of conditions must be met:
- Fruits and granulated sugar are taken in a 2:1 ratio.
